New Board for TDA

Following the Annual General Meeting in October, TDA is pleased to announce that it has only seen minor changes to the board that has currently been directing operations.

Long time director John Simon, who has been TDA chairman for two long terms in the last 10 years has relinquished the role but is keen to remain a board member. John handed over the reins to the former TABMA representative, Simon Olding for a short period about 3 years ago, but was happy to resume when Simon vacated his position.

Dave Angus from Boral Timber has taken on the position and has the full support of his fellow board members and the staff of TDA.

Most of the incumbent Directors remain with the exception of the Wood Panels sector where this vacant position was filled by Paul Michael, CEO of Weathertex Pty Ltd.

TDA welcomes aboard Paul as we look forward to a new year of challenges in the timber industry.
