2007 Overall Winner: Hayball Leonard Stent for Moonah Links Lodges
Last year's overall award winner was the Melbourne firm of architects, Hayball Leonard Stent, with their Moonah Lakes Lodges. All details of this project and of other category winners are available in the 2007 Winners section of the website. A record number of entries in the 2007 competition convinced us here at the Timber Development Association of the need to simplify the Awards entry process. Some of the conditions of entry, category definitions and entry criteria have, consequently, been amended. These slight changes should also simplify the judging process - and should make the overall competition fairer. Please make sure when you submit an entry to the 2008 competition that you are aware of these changes, as an incorrect application may invalidate your entry. Entries close at 5 pm, August 29: this is the deadline for submission of application forms and entry fees. Display boards and other entry materials need not be submitted until the middle of September (date to be confirmed). An early bird entry fee discount of 20% applies to all entry forms (including payment) received on or before July 11. No refunds will be made if a completed entry is subsequently not submitted. Judging will take place in October, with the awards to be announced at a presentation function to be held in Brisbane, in mid to late November. The actual date and venue are yet to be confirmed: please check the Awards website for further announcements. |
